Important Information About the Flu Vaccination

It is extremely difficult to obtain flu vaccine this year. Pharmacies have not yet received their supplies and are only getting small quantities of vaccine, which they then distribute to us depending on their position on the waiting list.

We have already received a vaccine dose, but can only distribute it according to our position on the waiting list. Interested patients should therefore please add their names to our waiting list.

This year, the situation is further complicated by the fact that there are four different influenza vaccines available in Spain. These require injections depending on the patient's age. Patients will undoubtedly have questions about this, which we hope to answer in the coming weeks and months.

Foreign patients also have the option of getting vaccinated at the public hospital, but only upon presentation of their residency permit and SIP (social security) card.
